The Building Schools for the Future Wave 1 Pathfinder project involved the refurbishment of several retained estate buildings together with the construction of a new performing arts building and vocational block. The existing buildings were sympathetically remodelled and refurbished, whilst creating a refreshed and innovative educational environment. New buildings incorporated cutting edge materials, 20% renewables and achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating.

The Building Schools for the Future Wave 1 Pathfinder project involved the construction of a new school block, multi-purpose sports hall and dining hall; together with the refurbishment of a retained 1920’s Victorian building. The project combined technical and innovative design together with achieving BREEAM Excellent rating and 60% Carbon Funding.

The project at Elvetham Heath Primary School involved the construction of large extension to the existing estate whilst keeping the School operational. The new extension provided ICT enriched areas; general teaching spaces; a break-out area; and welfare provisions. Externally a new landscape was created, offering play areas, sport pitches and nature feel to the surrounding buildings.
