Acting on behalf of PriDE, the MoD’s Prime Contractor, the project involved the refurbishment of two existing administration buildings. Working to a tight budget and programme the Team delivered an excellent standard of internal finishes and external repairs and offered the buildings over to the End User ahead of schedule. The project was delivered under budget and to the extreme delight of the Brigadier, who was the special guest at the Opening Ceremony.

The project involved the construction of a new training facility and part refurbishment of three existing buildings within HMS Collingwood. Construction of the new facilities involved many building techniques and included a steel frame; composite cladding; built up roof cladding; glazed main entrance with curved canopy; and single-ply membrane external plantroom. The Team worked to a tight deadline, which could not be exceeded as a planned decommission and decant of HMS Dryad training facilities had been pre-arranged. The project was handed-over on time, which included the training and decanting of all new personnel.
